Liz has been volunteering with TRIBE since opening day. Her experience in data analysis and passion to teach girls the power and creativity behind computer programming, makes her the perfect “Girls Who Code” teacher. She encourages any one who wants to be a part of a caring, fun community to join TRIBE.Liz told us her favorite aspect of TRIBE is “the way it brings the community together, not only the children who attend classes, but families, too. It’s been amazing to see the outreach that’s taken place through TRIBE, the word of mouth bringing new families in from all over, and the impact it’s had on us personally for making new friends, learning new skills and having fun!”Liz and her husband, Michael, and their two sons, Max & Jack moved to Tampa in 2018 after living in Poland for two years. Before that, they were Indiana natives. The Long family loves the beach, Goody Goody burger, and riding their bikes as a family. Jack & Max regularly attend the Family fitness class at TRIBE, as well as baking and Pokemon club. Liz hopes to host a jewelry making class at TRIBE in the future.
